Praise for this book
This was a terrifying concept and worked well overall with the description. I enjoyed the way the characters were written and glad they were realistic and well-written. Stephanie Tyo has a great writing style and left me wanting to read more like this. It had that psychological element that I was looking for and glad it was so well written.
This story will pull you in and keep you on the edge of your seats and the characters will captivate you. Elaine decides maybe its time to try dating again since she hasn't even thought of finding someone to spend time with besides her daughters. Since the divorce. So she sets up a profile on a dating app. After swiping away several men she comes across one that sounds like they have similar interests. So they agree to meet for coffee and that's how Mason Davis came into her life. They spent several hours at the coffee shop talking g about everything and anything that they found interesting. She thought that maybe she found a man that had a lot in common with but something was bugging her when they talked a strange look in his eyes made her a bit unsettled but then it was gone as fast as it came. Did she see something she should let her gut warn her or was she just uneasy since the past damage she endured? There are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted till the very last page. An unsettling story that will make you think twice about on line dating. I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
Awesome book! Such a great read! Definitely reading more from this author!
Stephanie Tyo's writing is so poetic. It was unexpected how beautifully written this psychological thriller was. At the beginning, as she's describing Elaine's life, I felt almost transported into a dream that quickly turned into a nightmare. Her family life with the girls seemed to be utter perfection. The more i read, the more entangled and invested i became in her happy ever after. This is definitely one of my favorites for the month.
This book was an enganging and kept you on the edge of your seat. This is definitely one of your worst nightmares coming true. It was fast paced and always kept you guessing.
